Carmen Heap
Director/Instructor
Carmen Heap is the owner and director of Little Sprouts Fine Arts Preschool. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2011 with her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She loves teaching children and seeing them progress and find joy in the learning process! She is married to Ryan Heap and they have 5 wonderful children. She loves reading, singing, hiking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors in the summer.
Carmen began teaching at Lindon Elementary School in Utah. She then taught for two years for Harmony Educational Services at two different charter schools in Utah. She has worked for Madison School District as a coach and a Behavior Intervention Specialist working one-on-one with students with special needs.
Carmen has always enjoyed working with young children and helping them learn and grow in these early stages of development.
Jenna Ratcliffe
Instructor
Jenna has always had a passion for teaching and knew from a young age that she wanted to become an educator. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and began her teaching career in sixth grade classrooms in Utah, where she discovered how much she loved helping students learn and grow. After stepping away from full-time classroom teaching to raise her family, she has enjoyed watching her six children develop a love of books and reading as well. For the past eight years, she has also taught dance in a variety of settings, continuing to share her love of learning, creativity, and working with children.
Alyse Huskinson
Instructor
Alyse grew up in the Pacific Northwest and developed a love for movement and learning from a young age. She spent several years dancing as a child before discovering a passion for cheerleading in high school, continuing through college at Brigham Young University–Idaho, where she also coached her college cheer team for a year.
Alyse is married to Mike, and together they are raising four children on their family farm. As a mother, she has loved watching her children grow through activities like dance, tumbling, and cheer, and she values the confidence, discipline, and joy that come from learning new skills.
She especially enjoys working with young children and creating a positive environment where they can build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Alyse loves helping preschool-aged students discover new abilities through movement, creativity, and play. She hopes every child she teaches feels encouraged, capable, and excited to learn.
Zoey Beck
Instructor
Zoey absolutely enjoys teaching, and has taught dance & gymnastics for the last 9 years to various ages. She is married to Justin Beck & has two amazing little kids & loves to be a mom. She graduated from college with an associates degree in Early Childhood Development in 2020. She loves teaching preschool age children, and especially encouraging them to explore their imaginations. Zoey is especially passionate about teaching emotional regulation. She enjoys yoga, hiking, gardening, crocheting, reading, & anything whimsical.
